What you buy
A Digital Featured Placement (Reigning Crown): your handle shown as the reigning crown holder on crownthecreator.com. What you pay sets how long you hold — from 3 minutes at $1 up the tier ladder. Delivery is instant and automated the moment payment clears. The handle display is the entire deliverable.
How the price moves
Every claim raises the price for the next one by a small step. While a crown sits unclaimed, that price melts step by step — but never below the floor of the last claim's tier. The price shown at checkout is final for your purchase.
No refunds
The placement delivers instantly, so all sales are final — no refunds. Checkout asks you to confirm this before you pay. If you file a chargeback anyway, we let it through and move on; the placement ends immediately.
One exception — our failure: if our system fails to deliver the placement you paid for (for example, the crown moved before your payment processed through no fault of your payment method, or the placement never appears and can't be granted), we refund that payment in full. A delivered placement is never refunded, whatever happens to it afterwards — being overthrown is how the placement works, not a defect.
Payments
Payments run through our Merchant of Record. Your card statement shows “Dodo Payments” with the brand reference CROWNTHECREATOR. We never see or store your card details.
Handles and conduct
Handles are @handles only — no URLs, no free text. Impersonating someone else gets the placement removed without refund. You can't use the placement for illegal content, hate, or harassment.
Season winners
The winner is whoever holds the crown at the season's hard end date — an outcome of the season, not a purchasable product. The winner receives an engraved digital trophy (delivered electronically), a permanent Hall of Fame placement, and Season 2 status perks. All rewards are digital, granted by us, and have no cash value. Boosts and shields are season features, not investments — they earn nothing.
Season end and changes
The season ends on a hard date — the finale overrides all timers. We may adjust mechanics mid-season with notice in the top banner; placements already delivered are never changed after the fact. The site is provided as-is.
